24th June – Commodore’s Cup- Race 12

A force 2 for Wednesday’s final round of the Commodore’s Cup.

It was all to play for, with just a couple of points separating the top three of Karen, Newton & Hugh.

Newton (Solo) and Karen Comet) both got away well, whilst Hugh infringed Will and has to complete penalty turns.

Newton sailed ahead, with Will & Rhys (Both ILCA7) further back jostling for position.

Behind them, Karen was holding off Darren (Solo).

Will managed to get ahead of Rhys, and passed Newton on the final leg, finishing 1st. Newton was 2nd & Rhys 3rd.

On handicap, Karen was 1st, Newton 2nd and Will 3rd.

The final results for the Commodore’s Cup is:

Newton 1st

Karen 2nd

Hugh 3rd
