Cost of Membership
Annual membership runs from 1st April to 31 March
Joining Fee | 37 | New member joining fee payable in the first year of joining |
Family | 140 | Includes partner and children under 18 living at the same address |
Adult | 116 | |
Crewing/Social | 53 | For those who do not own/sail their own boat |
Model Yacht | 59 | For those who only sail model yachts |
Student | 28 | Aged 16-24 in full time education |
Junior | 56 | Only available if linked to any adult membership category, children under 16 must be supervised at all times when on-site |
Boat Parking | 28 | Per craft parked at the club (Members Only) |
Trailer Parking | 16 | For storage in fenced compound |
Canoe Outdoor Rack | 10 | Per craft on rack (Members Only) |
Former Large Ski Shed | 30 | Indoor storage, per craft (short term only) |
Former Mirror Shed | 15 | Indoor storage, per craft (Kayak/Canoe) |
Clubhouse Key | 15 (refundable) | Contact the Membership Secretary via membership@readingsc.org.uk |
There are reduced fees for those joining in the period October to March, contact the membership secretary for details.
It is a requirement that all members attend their assigned OOD duties plus attend some work parties as advertised on the club calendar.
