August 25th Lex Cup

17 boats made it out for the Lex Cup on Monday. A very shifty force 2/3 meant a start line right at the far end of the lake.

Both Hugh (ILCA7) & Newton (Solo) were over at the start and had to return.

Darren (Solo) was first to the windward mark, followed by Mike T (ILCA7) and Mark B (Aero7).

Darren sailed clear, with Mike T some way behind. The rest of the fleet was fighting amongst themselves behind them.

Newton, Hugh and Mark were having a close fight for the final podium place. Meanwhile, Hadey & Joel (Both ILCA6) were having a close race.

Darren crossed the line first, with Mike T 2nd and Newton 3rd.

On Handicap, Darren finished 1st, with Hadey 2nd and Newton & Joel joint 3rd.

After the race, there was Chilli & Jacket Potato, followed by Crumble, made by Ann.
