Abandoned boats and trailers, posting of Part II Notice leading to the Sale or Disposal

ABANDONED BOATS – POSTING OF PART II NOTICES LEADING TO THE SALE OR DISPOSAL

Dear RSC Members,

Further to the email of the 11th June, the owners of the Laser and the Topper pictured below have not come forward. Therefore, Part II notices for the sale and disposal of the boats under the 1977 Torts Act have been posted on the boats. The owners have until the 7th October to move them from club premises. If either of these boats belong to you, then you must contact the club as soon as possible (Boat Park Marshall James Primrose, james_primrose@yahoo.co.uk).

The RSC committee would also like to remind all members that the club rules requires a valid boat park sticker which includes the member’s name to be clearly displayed on any boat kept in the RSC boat park.

Attached below are images of the following unidentified boats:

ABANDONED TRAILERS – POSTING OF PART II NOTICES LEADING TO THE SALE OR DISPOSAL

An audit of the Trailer Compound has determined that there are 24 trailers whose owners cannot be identified and/or we have no record of 2015 trailer park stickers being issued.

Therefore, Part II notices for the sale and disposal of the trailer under the 1977 Torts Act have been posted on the trailers. The owners have until the 11th October 2015 to either move them from the club premises or alternatively to purchase a 2015 trailer park sticker.

If you think you may have a trailer in the compound that might be in this group, we strongly urge to check as soon as possible and contact the club (Boat Park Marshall James Primrose, james_primrose@yahoo.co.uk). After the 11th October we will either be selling or scrapping any still unidentified trailer.

There are too many trailers to individually photograph, but here are some selected photographs below.

If you are interested in purchasing one of these trailers, please wait until the period notice is over. Our overriding goal here is to correctly identify the owners of the trailers, and to minimise or avoid the need for the club to take possession of any trailers.
