Reading Sailing Club would like to invite you to our ILCA (Laser) open on the 20th June 2026.
The plan is to hold 4 races, two back to back, followed by lunch, then a further two back to back races.
The event is part of the Grand Prix events held across the Thames Valley for Laser sailors.
Whether you are a seasoned sailor, or just starting out in the class, we encourage you to come along and give it a go!
The event is open to anyone, and entry is available for any of the three class rigs: 4.7 (4), Radial (6) or Full Rig (7)
The cost of the event is £15, which includes lunch & a pudding
Schedule
- Registration in the clubhouse from 8:30 – 10:00; coffee and tea available.
- Safety and Race Briefing at 10:30 clubhouse.
- First Warning Signal at 10:55 the sequence for the 3 classes to be determined on the day at the discretion of the Race Committee.
- Race 2 will follow as soon as practicable after the previous race.
- Lunch will be around 1pm or as soon as possible after race 2.
- Races 3 & 4 will follow after lunch.
- Prize Giving will be held as soon as possible after racing.
