{"id":607,"date":"2013-07-08T20:37:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-08T20:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.readingsc.org.uk\/members\/2013\/07\/08\/"},"modified":"2013-07-08T20:37:00","modified_gmt":"2013-07-08T20:37:00","slug":"607","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.readingsc.org.uk\/members\/2013\/07\/08\/607\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #3d85c6\">JULY CUP<\/span><\/h2>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3d85c6\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">A lovely sunny day and under staffed SOOD, Peter Rose set the course for what looked like a drifter but typically, after the start sequence began, the Sun did it\u2019s work and conditions picked up nicely.<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3d85c6\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Newton<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> was called back at the start for being over the line; meanwhile, Andy in his Merlin ploughed ahead and looked splendid with spinnaker flying, lasers in hot pursuit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3d85c6\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">In the lower orders Jon mack did battle with Monica, keeping in touch until nearly the end, whatever happened on that last lap?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3d85c6\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">Extreme sailor Steve in&nbsp; his 505 was impressive, often seen heeled over in dramatic fashion before missing out buoy four and finally coming to grief near buoy X with his mast stuck fast in the mud.
