{"id":589,"date":"2013-08-08T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-08T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.readingsc.org.uk\/members\/2013\/08\/08\/work-party-7\/"},"modified":"2013-08-08T10:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-08T10:00:00","slug":"work-party-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.readingsc.org.uk\/members\/2013\/08\/08\/work-party-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Work Party"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Work Party.<\/p>\n<p>There was a good turn out of 35 people at the August  work party &#8211; were YOU<br \/>\n<br \/>there, have you attended any work parties yet  this year?<br \/>\n<br \/>Boat park overgrown areas were cut back, the rest of  there bricks moved<br \/>\n<br \/>from below the galley window, the new Toppers secured in the  club boat area,<br \/>\n<br \/>upstairs loft tidied and cleaned, gutters cleared  out, clubhouse windows<br \/>\n<br \/>cleaned, lighting in clubhouse sorted out and lots  of other jobs.<br \/>\n<br \/>But the highlight of the morning saw Brian and  Richard, with huge grins on<br \/>\n<br \/>their faces, sorting out the new power boat and  launching it for some<br \/>\n<br \/>gentle pottering around the lake&#8230;&#8230;the engine needs to  be &#039;run in.&#039;<br \/>\n<br \/>While most of the activity was outside, the commodore was &#039;head to  head&#039;<br \/>\n<br \/>with Dean in the clubhouse with their laptops checking out the OOD rota  and<br \/>\n<br \/>duty man issues.<br \/>\n<br \/>Those that stayed on for lunch in the sunshine, saw Alice and  Louise have<br \/>\n<br \/>a great sail in strongish winds &#8211; the new power boat on hand just in<br \/>\n<br \/>case&#8230;..<br \/>\n<br \/>Thank you to everyone who attended and did their  bit.<\/p>\n<p>Sent from my iPad<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work Party.
