Dave P set a course of 5s, 9s, 4p, 1s, Xs and back through the  start.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>    <\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>This was a  six lap race and the first lap pretty well determined the final placings. Steve  S (Laser) came through the line in 1<sup>st<\/sup> place closely followed by  Newton &amp; Ellen (RS200) then there was a gap back &nbsp;to Hadey (4.7) who in turn was closely  followed by Richard H (Laser) and Gareth (Laser) with Laser 61642 (helm unknown-  but if you know who it was let Newton know).<\/span><\/div>\n<div>    <\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>There was no  change for the next two laps but by the end of the fourth lap Newton &amp;  Ellen had taken the lead from Steve. On the fifth lap the only change was  Gareth getting past Richard to move up to 4<sup>th<\/sup> place and these  positions were maintained to the finish.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>    <\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>The final  positions on the water and on handicap were \u2013<\/span><\/div>\n<div>    <\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>1<sup>st<\/sup>  Newton &amp;Ellen; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Steve S; 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Hadey; 4<sup>th<\/sup>  Gareth; 5<sup>th<\/sup> Richard H and 6<sup>th<\/sup> Laser 61642.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>    <\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'>Thanks to  Dave P and the OOD team of Tracey, Sophie and Roland L. <\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">    &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b><var><\/var><\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A cold Bank Holiday Monday with quite a brisk North wind saw only six boats braving the conditions.
