Pursuit Race<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There were 13 starters today and 9 of these were\nLasers, although five of these were using radial rigs and Adrian was going the\nother way by using his Rooster rig! <\/p>\n\n\n\n First man away Chris H (Comet) had been caught by the\nend of the first lap by Ellen & Newton (RS200), Jess (Radial) and Mike\n& Sally (Leader) and these three held their position to the gun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The finishing order was \u2013 1st<\/sup> Ellen & Newton; 2nd<\/sup>\nJess; 3rd<\/sup> Mike & Sally; 4th<\/sup> Karen; 5th<\/sup>\nJulian B; 6th<\/sup> Chris H <\/p>\n\n\n\n Handicap Race<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone stayed on for the second race and Julian B (Devoti D-Zero) was\nfirst back through the line one minute ahead of Newton & Ellen (RS200)\nfollowed by the Lasers of Jon, Karen and Ralph. Adrian (Rooster) was next across\nthe line in 6th<\/sup> place, some 30 seconds ahead of Mike Tr (Laser) and\nJess (Radial). Then there was a slight gap back to Mike & Sally (Leader)\nand Rick (Laser) then bringing up the rear of the fleet were Mike A (Radial),\nChris H (Comet) and Cecilia (Radial).<\/p>\n\n\n\n By the end of the second lap Julian and Newton & Ellen were still\nahead, but Mike Tr had moved up four places to 3rd<\/sup> place with Ralph\nup one to 4th<\/sup> place and Adrian up one to 5th<\/sup>.
