Pursuit Race<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There\nwere 12 starters and it was good to see Ben & Lilam (apologies if I have\ngot that name wrong) out on the water in a Laser 2000. First man away Ron\n(Mirror) repeated his feat of last week and maintained the lead right to the\nend of the allotted time. Chris H (Comet) who was second away did a similar trick\nand was still 2nd<\/sup> at the gun! <\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nfinal order was \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st<\/sup> Ron (Mirror); 2nd<\/sup> Chris H (Comet); 3rd<\/sup> Mike Tr (Laser); 4th<\/sup> Ralph (Laser); 5th<\/sup> Chris A (Solo); 6th<\/sup> Mike C & Karen (Leader)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Incidentally\nDave & Ann in another Leader were 7th<\/sup> and Nev & Sam in the\nthird Leader were 9th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Apart\nfrom Dave & Ann who appear to be constant companions, it\u2019s getting\ndifficult to keep up with the other Leader crews. Do they throw their car keys\ninto a pile and take pot luck! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Handicap Race<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nwind was no better for the second race and although everyone decided to give it\nanother go, it was a one lap affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mike\nT got away got away from the rest of the fleet and finished three minutes ahead\nof Adrian (Laser) in 2nd<\/sup> place, but he was only 20 seconds clear of\nRalph in 3rd<\/sup>. The two Chrises (or crises?) had a good battle for 4th<\/sup>\nplace with Mike C & Karen and Nev & Sam not far behind them.
