RYA Training, 24th & 26th May
Despite the inclement weather all the 15 trainees coped very well, especially the youngsters, who all achieved Stage 1 and a substantial part of Stage 2 as well.
We all got wet several times over the 2 days, not just with capsizing, but everyone had a lot of fun! Hot soup and hot chocolate by the gallon were kindly made by Barbara and much appreciated.
Steve pitched in and helped us as well.
There are support boat practice sessions on the next 2 Saturdays for those going on to do the next stages in July.
