The galley is run by volunteers headed up by the galley manager who buys all the goodies. Every Sunday’s racing someone helps out with ensuring that there is tea and coffee available to supplement the snacks. Usually a ready smile and ready-conversation are available at the kitchen bar as well!

The help provided by the volunteers ensures that the kitchen is made clean and tidy on the days they are there, though in fact this is the responsibility of all club members and every one is expected to ‘muck-in’ and help. This includes washing up, wiping down the surfaces, including the floor and taking the rubbish home for collection as the club doesn’t have that service.

Pay as you go, there is no IOU system and so in true RSC fashion all members are expected to be honest about what they have bought.

If you fancy getting involved please contact the galley manager or training secretary. Without the help, it doesn’t happen.
